I've been rather impressed by Tom Cruise too. Didn't expect to be, but he's been rather gallant.
He's been living here on and off apparently. But quietly. Makes a lot of movies in the UK. His daughter lives here full time, so maybe that's the connection. No issue with his funky church in the UK either.
