New details from Esper's book

A couple of days ago Axios reported on one shocking detail from former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper's forthcoming book. Now the NYT's Maggie Haberman and The Guardian's Martin Pengelly are out with further details. The NYT's headline: "Trump Proposed Launching Missiles Into Mexico to 'Destroy the Drug Labs,' Esper Says." Haberman reports that Esper "strained throughout the book to be fair" to Trump and "sent his writing to more than two dozen four-star generals, some cabinet members and others to weigh in on accuracy and fairness." The book also underwent the Pentagon's clearance process. So the resulting details are even more damning...
