I am not holding my breath. He's a truly self-centred and arrogant man.

The EU will be pleased. But the fact that Le Pen got 42% in spite of being a terrible candidate suggests there is a large part of the electorate that is sick of the EU and wishing for Brexitlike freedoms. If a more popular Frexit candidate shows up next time, maybe they will succeed.

They have another election in June which will show how much power Macron will have.

Besides, I'm hoping he learns & makes adjustments.
