In NY our governor is all for a football stadium & I think there's enough money for the owners to pay for this and or find funding...

NY taxpayers will pay $850 million for Buffalo Bills' new stadium

If the special district is eliminated, Orange and Osceola counties would have to provide the local services currently provided by the special district.

Legislators and tax experts warn the bill creates an even larger potential problem for taxpayers in the form of bonds totaling more than $1 billion.

I've read that Floridians taxes will increase. Newspaper articles etc.

I am not sure how that works. The impression I get is that Disney will be contributing to Florida's tax revenue, not that individual Floridians' tax rates will rise.
