The verdicts are the wrong way round. The two that are intentional deserve a worse punishment. I can't see how Crystal Mason deserves any kind of punishment.

I don't know why the different judges had such different verdicts. I wouldn't assume a racial motive unless there's a pattern in any of the judges' sentencings.

Two white men though court records show that the two men may be able to defer prosecution and avoid further punishment if they complete 50 hours of community service, attend a 12-week civics class, and agree to regular meetings with a supervising officer.

Crystal, a black woman didn't have that option...
