Indeed.

But there's only one other that operates credibly in a similar way. And there's one thing the Chinese leadership does that Russia's doesn't. They assess risk realistically.

A weakened Russia will affect Chinese calculations. It's a set-back for them too.

All the other autocratic countries are just about manageable, in my opinion.
