The good news. Putin's credibility is toast. NATO countries would defeat Russia's vaunted conventional military if he invaded. Easily.

The risk is if he gets desperate, like a cornered rat.

I think we leave him in place, to fester, without the fear of his threats, with the idea of Greater Russian dead and with a weakened economy. See how long the Russian people will put up with him as a pariah. He'll spend the rest of his days looking over his shoulder.

ps Boris has got the big ticket items right, in my view. But he sucks at some of the detail. If we have to choose between the two, I'd rather a Boris than a virtuous micromanager.
