Agreed.

US taxpayers are forking out millions via the courts, and nothing changes. So it just makes policing (along with things like healthcare) far more expensive in the USA.

This is just one of the many things which the ridiculous second amendment does for you.

Until they have the officers pay some part of these, I don't see where changes will be made.
