As of 10:30 a.m. on March 21, Ukraine’s military have also reported destroying 1,535 armored personnel carriers, 498 tanks, 969 vehicles, 240 artillery pieces, 45 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 80 launch rocket systems, 97 planes, 121 helicopters, 60 fuel tanks, 13 special equipment, 24 UAV, and 3 boats.
A load of these numbers are increasing impressively. A lot of planes and helicoptors have continued to be destroyed, which shows Putin is nowhere near mastering the sky. And on the ground, armored personnel carrier and tank numbers keep on increasing. Must be scary as hell to be stuck in one.
One number that has remained stable for a while is 60 fuel tanks. Suggests to me that Russia is not advancing into exposed terrain. They kinda lost that part of the war. Now it's just firing artillery into cities from a long way away to try and terrify them into submission.
One thing that is obvious. Putin is trying to cut Ukraine off from both the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea. In their shoes, I would keep fighting rather than concede those shorelines. Putin can't keep his war going for long. Whereas Ukraine is being backed by the West which has no problem supporting a war on this scale.
The longer it continues, the more things return to the status quo ante. If we are lucky, Russia will lose EVERYTHING it has taken from Ukraine, including Crimea.
