BREAKING NEWS

Correction: An earlier alert misstated errors reported in the 2020 census. Nearly 19 million residents were miscounted in some way, not undercounted.

The Census Bureau said that the overall population total was accurate but that counts of minorities were skewed. Advocacy groups threatened to go to court.
