It's interesting to read about groups like Anonymous in which private individuals are apparently disrupting information resources in Russia and Belarus.

At first, it was cocking a snook sorts of activities, but it is developing into things like screwing up Belarussian troop-carrying train timetables, and so on.

We aren't at war in the intergovernmental sense. But it kinda seems that individual people are.

Since Putin has been waging this sort of information war for years, it's cathartic to see the reverse. My guess is the armchair digital warriors of the west will overwhelm Russia's people in time. We are far more numerous and while the Russians are experienced, their organisation makes them vulnerable.

Maybe we can control their information architecture and immobilise their invasion.
