I sure hope so.

China is acting cautious & other countries that usually back Putin have condemned him.

If these numbers are correct Russian parents will be very angry.

At least 198 Ukrainians have been killed so far, Ukraine’s health minister said Saturday, and more than 1,100, including children, have been wounded. According to Ukraine’s defense minister, some 3,000 Russian troops have been killed in the fighting.

That would be an unprecedented number, though experts said all these statistics should be treated with extreme caution because of the fog of war and the incentives both Russia and Ukraine have to push a particular narrative.

Apparently their banks are not picking up all the slack Putin wants them to, because they are afraid of western sanctions.

The EU is now talking about possibly agreeing to shut down Russian access to SWIFT.

It does begin to look like Putin has bitten off more than he can chew.
