Anyone who claims he is honest is as gullible as a Trump groupie. He lied about what his troops were up to. He is lying about his motives. He is lying about the Russian military's actions now.
He is trying to rebuild the Soviet Union. He doesn't care how countries like Ukraine behave. He doesn't care how many people die to achieve his goal. He wants to control their countries.
Given he runs a kleptocracy, I wonder if any of his underlings plans to replace the boss by criminal means. Treachery is a part of the mafia model. Because he's at war with the world, with the exception of a few bad actors.
