I don't feel it serves a purpose to say, he committed the crime because the victim was black, any more than he committed the crime because it was thursday.
Oh but that makes all the difference.
They didn't care what day it was, they only cared that a BLACK man was in their neighborhood.

We hardly take these cases to trial, even when they are put on the calendar they mostly come to a plea deal.
Arbery's mother refused to let the DOJ plea this one out.
