Not in favour of truckers blockading bridges.
And not in favour of vaccine mandates.
I am very much in favour of getting vaccinated voluntarily. All Canadians have had the opportunity. I wouldn't make any rules to accommodate people who haven't taken advantage of it.
But if people wish to take their chances of getting covid and getting their immunity that way, so be it. If they are younger than 35, it's not a dumb decision as the covid mortality risk is low. Above 50, you'd be nuts to take the risk, in my opinion.
For folks who have had covid in particular, I see no reason to demand they get vaccinated. The point is to have a high level of immunity. If you've had covid, your mortality risk is very low. And you are no more likely to infect another person than a vaccinated person.
And I am in favour of mandatory masks in shops etc.
