It's clearly an orchestrated move backed by some ambitious and somewhat treacherous underlings.
It's not that his Downing Street was a model of a teetotal lifestyle during lockdown. Sounds like there was a drinking culture in there. And that was obviously a problem, although not so unusual in British politics.
It's just that there are much bigger fish to fry right now and the potential replacements fill me with concern. Especially because of what they are doing to Boris.
