Like ah’ said, my cousin and his wife in Athens never got Covid while his son got it twice and was living with them. Also, ten years ago I had a cold with some fever, never had fever with a cold before or since, and for a day or so lost taste and smell, which could have been a similar virus.
I believe cousins of this virus have preexisted and this one became a lethal variant over the years.
The immune system is not just about “ strong immunity.” It is too complex to be simplified by modern day Neanderthals.
