Turns out he is a human being not a machine and thus had to resign. The theory that people don't fall in love in a work environment is quaint. But it doesn't match the reality of what we are. By design, as it were. Hopefully, we'll be replaced by robots soon so that people with actual feelings don't encounter one another, thereby saving offices from the disaster of people having relationships.
