You've left us in the dust for deaths, recently. That's because your antivax population is huge. And we are far ahead on boosters as well. So I am not surprised your numbers are higher.
People in the UK think we are about 2 weeks ahead of you in terms of where we are in the pandemic curve, even if our totals are lower. If that's true, and our mortality numbers have approximately doubled over the last two weeks, then perhaps US numbers will double as ours have done.
Sounds depressing. But meanwhile, new cases are falling off a cliff in the UK. Deaths will probably drop too. So hopefully that will happen in the US also.
