It turns out Boris wasn't at the party, and the party was just a bunch of people at 10 Downing Street, all of whom worked together anyway during the shutdown because the PM's office has to keep going, sharing glasses of wine. A bit of a nothingburger in the end. It's been blown out of proportion.

But I was fooled by the newspapers into thinking it was something to begin with.

That behavior almost cost the governor of California his job.

It did cause a recall & millions of dollars, though he kept his job.
