It may be impossible to stop it transmitting since it has already crept out of Africa.

So let's hope it is a milder version and replaces delta in the viral food chain [in which we are the food]. Because if it is, it will confer immunity at a fraction of the mortality rate of delta: a coronavirus we can live with.

If only one or another of these coronaviruses would target other diseases instead of us humans. They'd be thought of as benign.
