The Desperate Search for America’s 48th President After Kamala Harris Fails to Complete Joe Biden’s Term of Office

by David Ware
MAGAinstitute.com

Both our 28th President Woodrow Wilson and our 32nd President Franklin Delano Roosevelt became incapacitated during their term of office. Now our 46th President Joe Biden is becoming increasingly incapacitated but Kamala Harris will not be able to handle her position as our 47th President very long. This retrospective will help us anticipate who will soon be our 48th President.

Who Controlled Woodrow Wilson?

Excerpt from Wikipedia:

Wilson had intended to seek a third term in office but suffered a severe stroke in October 1919 that left him incapacitated. His wife and his doctor controlled Wilson, and no significant decisions were made. [Note: This was prior to the 22nd Amendment.]

On October 2, 1919, Wilson suffered a serious stroke, leaving him paralyzed on his left side, and with only partial vision in the right eye. He was confined to bed for weeks and sequestered from everyone except his wife and his physician, Dr. Cary Grayson. Dr. Bert E. Park, a neurosurgeon who examined Wilson’s medical records after his death, writes that Wilson’s illness affected his personality in various ways, making him prone to “disorders of emotion, impaired impulse control, and defective judgment.”

Anxious to help the president recover, Tumulty, Grayson, and the First Lady determined what documents the president read and who was allowed to communicate with him. For her influence in the administration, some have described Edith Wilson as “the first female President of the United States.”

Who Controlled FDR?

Excerpts from ‘Two Uncle Joes’ by J. Michael Waller, September 18, 2021

The president’s later extended illness would allow others to exploit that softness. In the last few years of World War II, FDR’s doctor put him on a four-hour-a-day work schedule with long vacations. Roosevelt had little time to devote to his duties as president. The issue wasn’t the paralysis that confined him to a wheelchair. It wasn’t mere overwork or loss of focus. Roosevelt’s cognition was degrading sharply. He delayed major decisions and ignored key responsibilities.

FDR’s policies determined the fate of the entire world. At times Roosevelt didn’t understand the directives and strategies that he was signing.

The entire American policy at the height of World War II was in the hands of often anonymous presidential aides and bureaucrats.

Biden fairly has admitted his staff is running him. Aides have urged him not to take questions from reporters. The president has conceded that he is “going to get in trouble with my staff.”

Biden is a ghost helming the ship of state. His vice president, Kamala Harris, isn’t up to the task.

Who Controls Joe Biden?

Not even the most staunch conservative should take any pleasure or delight in watching the spectacle of the President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief of American Armed Forces humiliating himself and us in the world. Wilson was in office during World War I but that was before the nuclear age. It was FDR’s successor, Harry Truman, who had to make that decision that ushered in the atomic era.

The perils of an incapacitated president today exponentially surpass those which existed even during those two world wars of the previous century. Wilson’s and Roosevelt’s legacies remain intact but one false move by Biden and there won’t be any more history to be written.

Undoubtedly, Jill Biden is covering for her husband and there is friction between her and Kamala Harris. But our current First Lady is probably not making decisions that Edith Wilson did. Whoever put VP Harris where she is had a plan for her. But it isn’t working out because she is not only incompetent, she tends to giggle uncontrollably at inappropriate times when dealing with serious issues.

So, America’s first order of business is to find out who is really pulling Joe Biden’s puppet strings. But, an equally urgent priority is the realization that he isn’t going to be where he is much longer. He isn’t going to be impeached or subjected to the 25th Amendment by Democrats in Congress and the Administration. But, one way or the other, this charade is going to have to end and it may happen at a very awkward time and place. Nobody knows!

Who follows Kamala Harris in the line of succession for the presidency?

The scenario would be very different IF Biden hangs on until after the midterm elections in 2022 and IF the GOP regains control of both chambers of Congress. That would mean that a Republican would become Speaker of the House of Representatives. Then if Biden were impeached and are also impeached soon thereafter, for the first time in American history, a Speaker of the House could become President. But even that pre-supposes that some Democrats in the Senate would go along for a two-thirds vote to convict.

It is most likely that Biden will be unable to continue that long under any circumstances because of his deteriorating health and mental condition. They can only keep covering for him so long and then it becomes too obvious. If we wake up tomorrow to a blaring headline that Biden has resigned or passed away, we will then have Kamala Harris as our 47th president, like it or lump it.

The fact that she is so abysmally unpopular now would only be magnified when the spotlight is on her and her alone as president. Foreign enemies would be emboldened even more. Domestic opposition would also grow. She would then have to nominate someone to become the next Vice President. One would have to be an extreme Pollyanna to expect that person to be anything other than a department store mannequin with replaceable parts.

Let’s just look at who is in the line of succession as it stands right now.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi

Nothing really needs to be said about what that would mean to America. It’s interesting to consider though that she would not only have to resign her position as Speaker. The tipsy “lady” from the San Francisco Bay Area would have to resign completely and forfeit her seat in Congress. If she were only President for a short time, she could not go back to the House without being re-elected again. She is already 81 years old.

President Pro Tempore of the Senate Patrick Leahy

The Senator from Vermont is exactly five days younger than the Speaker. So, here we have another octogenarian in line to step into the highest pressure, most dangerous position on the planet. One false move, even undue hesitation, could bring global calamity.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken

Here we have our country’s top diplomat who pretty much sleepwalked through previous Administrations. He’s really just a rubber stamp for Progressive Politics as Usual. As far as his mentality, you might want to consider that he has used the name ABlinken. That is pronounced Abe Lincoln! I kid you not. Talk about delusions of grandeur!

Others in the Presidential Line of Succession

Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, Attorney General Merrick Garland, Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland, Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh, Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Marcia Fudge, Secretary of Tranportation Pete Buttigieg, Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm, Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona, Secretary of Veterans Affairs Denis McDonough, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas.

There you have it. How many of those underwhelming names do you recognize? Since George Washington became our 1st President in 1789, this country has never had to go beyond the Vice President to either Congress or members of the Cabinet to fill a vacant presidency.

Most Likely Scenarios

Joe Biden becomes increasingly feeble and resigns. Kamala Harris becomes President. Everything beyond that is 100% contingent upon how she handles being elevated to that unparalleled responsibility. There is nothing in her past that would lead to optimism in that regard.

As bad as that would be, Biden continuing as an empty shell is even more hazardous, though we have to wonder if Harris could even manage to fill the more than three years of his remaining presidential term. She does not have the experience or the requisite knowledge. Her temperament could result in an apocalypse.

That’s where things stand now. We will continue this discussion soon enough after President Harris takes the Oath of Office. Then we shall consider who will be our soon-comin 48th President!
