In the 80s and 90s I used to have faith in the wisdom of the US electorate. Now I expect McCarthy to be speaker in 22.

It isn't helped by the fact the Dems aren't great. But they are far better than the woeful GOP. When you think about it for a second or two, it's just astonishing that the US can't find a larger number of impressive politicians.

Many House Republicans want to strip the 13 members that voted for the bill of their committees.

McCarthy is worthless, he never stands up for what is right. Yet, he hopes to be speaker if the republicans take control in 2022.

This will get much worse, if he does.
