I agree he's dangerous because he has a platform via Fox. But he's not saying anything remotely thoughtful or interesting. It's a shame Americans have to take him seriously as from abroad he looks like the clown he is.
The awfulness of the American right is thankfully a unique American problem. It's basically an issue about selfishness.
