I've been watching this trial & the one in Georgia.
First, the self defense law in Wisconsin gives him a lot of latitude, fear for his life, just like the cops.
Even though he was 17 & illegal to have that weapon, and isn't even from that area.
Second, the state is doing a poor job. He should bring out any weakness of the witness, not let the defense attorney do that...
Third, the judge is odd, he's the one that won't allow the state to label the dead & wounded, as 'victims', yet the defense can label them arsonists, etc, even thought they were never found guilty by a court.
Fourth, the jury. He seated the jury in ONE day.
One jurist was kicked off for telling the bailiff a 'joke' of the reason Blake was shot 7 times, because they ran out of bullets...
How many more of those are on the panel?
I don't see how 12 jurists agree with a guilty charge.
The trial in Georgia is different.
The three charged for the death of Ahmaud Arbery I expect to be found guilty.
The judge is fair, took weeks to seat the jury.
The state is very prepared, the lead Prosecutor Linda Dunikoski is terrific & was very personable when questioning the panel before seated.
The evidence, videos are damning.
That's my take so far.
