I sometimes watch the bits Maher puts online. He really has excellent writers and he knows how to deliver a line.
But no one has a great solution to the problem of the GOP. I'm very grateful the UK's right-of-centre party is able to evolve, instead of the First World War-like political war of attrition that continues in the US.
Is there a greener party in the US than the UK's Conservative Party? We're actually adopting alternative energy technologies as fast as we can. It's thrilling to watch.
