My wife may not be willing to let me saddle up and take her BMW motorcycle for a whirl when she's 80 and I'm about 114, but she's making amends ahead of time with this recipe for pho soup. She found a flavoring packet on the supermarket's discount rack a few months ago and bought a bunch of 'em, and is now able to make up a half gallon or so of soup (6 cups of water) in about twenty minutes. She adds raw sliced steak, bok choy (and whatever other vegetables sound interesting at the time), sliced red bell peppers, udon noodles and boils it until the meat cooks which doesn't take long. That's all there is to it, but I add hot sauce to my bowl to give it some zing, turning the broth from clear to orange/brown. And, oh, man, is this stuff good! It's my 3rd bowl today. Seriously, I could live off of it even though bok choy is probably one of the veggies I'm not supposed to touch.

I suggest you guys give it a try. Nemo: The spicy broth would taste great even without the other ingredients - if you're allowed to consume spicy liquids, that is.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months
