that is a gorgeous hand carved chest! I have my mom's Cherry and lined cedar chest as well but it does not have the ornate carving that yours does! That is awesome!
The BMW of that age if it is in really nice condition is likely worth a lot of money to Motorcycle collectors..
Its British and Old and has a Sidecar.. Three really good things in its favor.. A great family heirloom.
Mrs. De could ride in the side car with the rifle and you could drive while she shoots your au natural meals on the wooded acreage. If you were the shooter you would starve to death...

Great job. I think I would simply have a shipper pick up the motorcycle and bring it east rather than do the Tour de United States again.. That wore me out just reading your updates!
