...they have a thingy ya use to put on ya socks. You won't be able to do that by yourself. Walk in shower or not, yuou will need something to sit on in there.

I just found out last week that they gonna replace bof my knees. Doc says he's surprised I can get about on em at all. It's always something.

I got me a safety bench with raised handles on both sides of the bench for the walk in shower after my hip replacement surgery in January. I do not need one that has a sit on and slide over as I do not have a TUB any more. We converted our main bath into a Walk In Shower with less than a 2 inch high step over. I also did not install glass doors so I have a wide open shower to step into.

Thought maybe would get some of these needed items while the getting was good.. I have postponed the surgery until January sometime. The surgical center at the orthopedic groups office building is in the process of being approved as a provider by my insurance and has been in the works for two months now so I believe all will be good by January. If not, I will simply have to go to another hospital.

I asked Doc if while he had me on the table naked iffen he could replace my knee at the same time so when I woke up the Hip and the knee joint would both be done and I did not have to go through this again next year. Getting a little tired of major surgeries. Getting too old to recover quickly.

Thanks for the advice on the sitting safety stool/bench.

I suspect a hand held shower wand may be needed also..
