Apparently so much that it washed away two bridges in Scotland.
So far not nearly that bad here. The soil is drawing it in. And even when it rains a lot, the streams here feed the rivers that flood the towns in the flatland.
Not that our road doesn't overflow. It always does during the winter. Always have to drive through 100 yards of 6 inch deep water at the bottom of the hill. But it overflows off the road into the stream if it gets too wet. And from there it becomes a problem for folks downstream.
