But compared to people who had EVEN MORE than that, she is a stupid, stupid woman. She is incapable of understanding that there are many dishonest people in her party and that it is not in her interest - or anyone else's - for them to be in charge.

Here's what happened with Dilawar Syed:

In Syed's affidavit to the Senate committee, Syed failed to disclose that he had received a PPP loan. The Senate committee was forced to dig up that fact. Having such a loan is a clear conflict of interest since, as head of the Small Business Administration, Syed would be IN CHARGE of PPP loans. If he took the job, he'd be morally obligated to return the money. But would he? In the question and answer portion of testimony, Rand Paul raised this point then asked Syed for the dollar amount of the loan. Syed refused to tell him, saying that his company is proprietary and the amount is confidential. Paul then said it should be noted that Syed refuses to disclose the amount. And, "you will not tell us the amount that you put on the application that you signed your name to for your company on how much U.S. dollars you estimated you were going to lose. The problem with that is you say, 'Oh, believe me, oh yes we were eligible' - but that's self policing. Give us the information so we can trust ya. I'm willing to vote for you, but not if you you stonewall us and say 'we're not going to give you the information.' I mean, we deserve to know that because you are going to be in charge of these.

You got 14 million dollars!"

LOL.

Rand Paul's refusal to support Syed's nomination has nothing to do with Syed being Muslim. It has to do with Syed attempting to hide a 14 million dollar material fact.
