Re: “I will have my family here to be with me when I go.”
That had to be difficult to write. This response is too.

I'm sorry to hear about the pain. That's the last thing you need to be dealing with. Before you throw in the towel on your treatment, remember that some treatments start off bad... terrible, even... but eventually improve. I hope that will the case with you. Ask your doctor what to expect, painwise.

Unfortunately, what you've described isn't news to me. When you first described your diagnosis, I looked into it and saw that it was grave. I think you're on the right course of treatment. Sometimes, that's not enough - but MAYBE, right? Only you can know if it's time to stop fighting.

I suggest doing what makes you happy with the time you've got. If there are any things you can do that are on your 'bucket list' (and maybe you don't have one but should) NOW IS THE TIME TO DO THEM. By all means, make a will. Don't let the things you've got be taken by lawyers or government. If spirituality makes it easier, don't hesitate: Look into it and give it your all.

LIVE EACH DAY AS IF IT IS YOUR LAST. One day it will be - for all of us.

And I'm really happy that your family will be there for you. They can help like nobody else.

Doesnt look too good. I am thinking if it is this bad that all this stuff they are doing is in vain!!!!!!!!!! If there are some possibilities with the rest I might try them. But the chemo could kill me as well. So far the radioactive treatments I am doing have done NOTHING, I have 5 more will go from there. If I am going to be in this pain for my last year or so, I am going to pull the plug!!!, I will have my family here to be with me when I go. I have been in pain everyday with this back, now this. Tumors hurt like hell..............WHEN THE TUMOR PAIN AND THE BACK PAIN KICK IN, I start puking and that hurts like hell......... This is not how I wantr to live......... If it gets to this I will let you folks know how the time I will go. Like my siggy says GIVE ME THE F***KING TRUTH. i CAN TAKE IT.........
