There are down days.
But over time, usually more good ones.
The world does seem more unusually rubbish than normal at the minute.
Is the US seeing food shortages? I suspect your country is big enough to have everything. But covid has really damaged transportation networks here. Lorry drivers have gone missing. I suspect many died early on while heroically keeping food deliveries happening. Same with shelf-stackers. The result is that supermarkets aren't able to keep their shelves full.
Our area was particularly affected as traditionally UK people vacation overseas, but this summer staycationers went on holiday in the British countryside. Which meant they ate everything!!!
Glad summer is over and the people from the big cities are back there. But now the problem will be there. Luckily for us, farmers put a lot of their produce into local shops, so we should be okay. But I think the big towns are going to struggle.
