Minnesota court tosses murder conviction against Mohamed Noor, former police officer who fatally shot 911 caller in 2017
The Minnesota Supreme Court on Wednesday reversed the third-degree murder conviction of a former Minneapolis police officer, Mohamed Noor, who fatally shot Justine Ruszczyk Damond on July 15, 2017, after she had called 911 to report a neighbor being assaulted. His second-degree manslaughter conviction still stands.
