What exactly were the people at the Pentagon doing when they transferred control of 175 million IP addresses to a Florida company that was so new that no one had ever heard of it before, had no previous dealings with anyone, no known employees, no web presence of any kind and if you visited the address given to the Pentagon, you'd find no mention of the company, but you would find a different company at that address. Calls to the published phone number were not answered and no messages were returned. But the strangest aspect of this is that this transfer took place on the morning of January 20th, 2021, exactly THREE minutes before Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th President of the United States. When asked shortly after this transfer had been noticed by private cybersecurity companies, a Pentagon spokesman implied that the timing was totally coincidental.
Note that with the change in the administration that controls the Pentagon, this 'contract' has since been cancelled and control of those 175 million IP addresses have been returned to the Pentagon, but no one can explain who authorized this in the first place nor even to what purpose was this done.
