Why do we get colds? Because they keep changing and reinfecting us via new variants. Same with covid, which is a coronavirus like all cold viruses.
So, basically, it doesn’t look good for the future. With so many unvaccinated and infections, and this across the world, not just here, boosters will be needed just as the seasonal flu shots.
If anyone watched 60 Minutes, though, there is hope that mRNA will be able to deal not just with covid, but even with the common cold. One vaccine for all coronaviruses.
Don’t worry about the Trump university graduates. The fact that even some think they have natural immunity will eventually help get rid of them. Rand Paul thinks he has natural immunity now. Well, until a variant gets to him again. It’s coronavirus. We have not been able to get natural immunity to colds so far. Darwinism at work. At all levels.
