It looks like the delta variant is ripping up the antivaxxer community in the US.
Comparing the US and UK experience, I think you are seeing mortality numbers that are proportionately about half again as high. It's a decent assumption that the explanation for the difference is that there's a really ghastly number of people dying in your huge antivaxxer community.
At this point, I don't see any point in trying to persuade them to change. They'll become immune one way or another. But unvaccinated exposure to delta wouldn't be my choice. One form of immunity is death, of course.
