Donald Trump called into a conservative talk-radio show earlier today with a complaint. It seems he was upset that all of the major media outlets were spending most all of their air time last night and this morning talking about Hurricane Ida and virtually NO air time talking about how he personally negotiated an “excellent arrangement” with the Taliban that allowed the Americans to withdraw from Afghanistan. He claimed that if it hadn't been for him and the work he did getting the Taliban to agree to the deal he offered them, that Biden would NOT have been able to evacuate anyone from the country. He basically said that he should be getting ALL the credit for the fact that over 120,000+ people were evacuated safely from Kabul over the last two weeks or so.
