Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

After spending some more time researching the slots and examining more closely this particular slot of De's, I am wondering if it could be a PCIE x 8 ???

I can't see enough of the length of the slot.
Maybe DE can tell us the make and model number of that computer so we can look up the specs..

It is NOT a regulat PCI slot slot because the small slot would be in the front toward the the end where the D-sub and plat would be and this is just the opposite, with the smaller slot in the rear, which is what a PCI slot is.

I do not see the Tang holder atthe end of the slot which is why I question it is an X16 pci slot. ALL those slots have a little snap thing at the end of the slot to help hold the video card and stabilize it on the motherboard.

Could this may be be a pci x 8 which does not have the clip at the end? It is a liottle shorter in length than the x16 but I can;t tell how long this slot on De's machine is.

I would love to hear your thoughts Zim..

Thanks!

micro...
