...I agree sportfan. If ya put all the best teams in one conference, no matter which conference it is, there is no need for bowl games and nothing for me to do on NY day except go wif mz ribit to visit her crazy sister. I'd rather watch the tiddlywinks finals.

well sire, yes, they could, but I like the conferences and different teams vying for conference titles and then playing each other post conference season..

Call me a traditionalist... Remember when Arkansas and Texas was a really great rivalry game a long time ago?

The Red River rivalry game? Ok State versus Oklahoma.
And now mre teams from the Big 12 are getting pretty good like TCU, Iowa State, Baylor. The football fans need the Big 12 to stay highly competetive just like the SEC, Big 10, ACC, and it would be nice if the PAC12 got it going again...

I believe the Bearcats belong in one of these conferences. Possibly the Big 12 or the ACC. Time will tell.
