Who do you think those two groups of people might actually be? To me, it's clear: ILLEGALS.

$35 million per month is $420 million per year, which isn't all that much when you've got California's budget and a population that's officially pushing 40 million but 50 million unofficially. The dollar amount and the number of qualifying groups only go UP once the bill passes.

California lawmakers on Thursday approved the first state-funded guaranteed income plan in the U.S., $35 million for monthly cash payments to qualifying pregnant people and young adults who recently left foster care with no restrictions on how they spend it.
