A Truly Funny Story
I have a radio with an earplug that I keep going all night cause it helps me sleep or at least it keeps me from waking up covered with sweat cause I don't know where I am or why people I don't know are trying to kill me for no good reason. Mostly talk radio stuff. Brian Kilmeade etc. There is a show that comes on early in the morning (4am or so) called O'Neill Outside and it is about hunting and fishing and camping and all the kind of stuff that a program called O'Neill Outside implies. Sometimes guests call in and swap stories with O'Neill. Everybody on the show talks real country and they sound moderately illiterate but it's an act. Kinda like myself.
Anyway, the other night a guy called in and was talking to O'Neill about fishing and cooking fish and different recipes etc. He told O'Neill that he had actually been diving for fish and other ocean edibles. Told about several kinds of ocean critters that were really tasty and a few that were dangerous. He says that the most dangerous thing in the ocean is the octopus. "Ya gotta be really careful when ya going after an octopus. If they manage to get them testicles wrapped around ya it's all over."
