He probably never said it. As we all know, America's liberal journalists have no integrity and are quick to lie when it comes to Donald Trump.
That aside, it's not P.C. to say anything good about Hitler. But this is a message board, so here goes:
• Adolf Hitler and Ferdinand Porsche are the people behind the Volkswagen Beetle.
• The Autobahn was Hitler's invention.
• Hitler fought for his country in World War I, was very brave and was badly injured in a mustard gas attack.
• Hitler started the “Winter Help Work—WHW” charity, an enormously successful campaign against hunger and cold.
• Hitler passed the “Reich Nature Protection Act” for the protection of several native species such as the Eurasian Lynx. It employed animal protection and conservation policies used throughout Europe to this day.
• An early smoker, Hitler quit, condemned smoking and openly criticized tobacco consumption. Smoking was banned from government offices, civic transport, university campuses, rest homes, post offices, many restaurants and bars, hospital grounds and workplaces. Research on smoking and its effects on health thrived as well.
• Hitler pioneered rocket technology and made German technology the envy of the world. (Yes, I know about Robert Goddard, but his rockets were primitive compared to what the Nazis accomplished.) America beat Russia to the moon only because "our Germans are better than their Germans." (The quote is attributed to a miscellaneous NASA technician, but may be the invention of Right Stuff author Tom Wolfe.)
As with most liberal politicians, Adolph Hitler did some good things but at an unacceptable cost. That's an assessment honest people SHOULD be able to say about Hitler without fear of reprisal.
