"Growing tomatoes around here is like buying a high-priced hooker. Is it worth it? Maybe. Maybe not. The fun is in the uncertainty."

Hmmm ... that's quite an analogy, De. Who knows ... if anyone from the American Psychological Association monitors Atomic Bob's, we might even see a write-up in American Psychologist, Psychological Review, or the Journal of Applied Psychology in the near future.

Re: “...btw: does you expect to grow $232 of tomatoes???”
Last year, cold weather came before my tomatoes ripened. I hardly got anything. But the year before that, I got so many that I could've sold them for a nickel a pound and turned a profit.

Growing tomatoes around here is like buying a high-priced hooker. Is it worth it? Maybe. Maybe not. The fun is in the uncertainty.
