Not too sure about the 'lawless' part. The article I
read on the subject said we was bombing iranian weapons
stockpiles - weapons intended to be used to attack
American servicemen.
Personally I think we should have taken a page out of
the iranian play book - and told the Israeli's where
the iranian weapons was and let them bomb them. (Enabling
U.S. to pretend innocence.)
