rubber buckets do not conduct electricity.
Maybe someone is using a bucket and around electric or something.. ALso, they will last a lot longer than vinyl or plastic ones. I have a 100 foot pure rubber garden hose that is 5/8 dia. It was bought in 1983 and is on my garden hose reel today. Still flexible and like new..

Just some food for thought whether it answered your question or not I do not know..

I ran into another guy moving to Kansas yesterday. That seemed a coincidence given how it was only a few weeks ago that I met the police officer who was leaving for Kansas.

I asked him why he was going and he gave me the same reason as the last guy. "For $140,000 I can buy a three-bedroom house on 20 acres," said he. Wow. That's pretty good. He knows what to expect: He'd lived there previously, just four years ago. He said his 12-year-old son is really looking forward to going to school with his old buddies again. I think he'll be surprised by how they've all changed. Four years is a LONG time when you're that age.

The guy is a hunter, and he had a lot of bow hunting hardware for sale. My wife picked through it, but a lot of it was expensive and not worth it to us. I did, however, buy two aluminum trash cans with lids from him for $2.50 each. He told me I could have their contents for free. Said contents included some door locks that are junk for lack of a key, bed bug spray, a bunch of buckets- some of which are rubber, a nice set of pruning shears that had one handle falling off, but it screwed back in and was in good shape after all, a couple of screwdrivers and maybe a few other things. What are rubber buckets for?

Separately but from the same guy, I bought a bin filled with hardware for incubating eggs and raising chicks. He said it has everything I will need except for hardware to water the birds. $20.
