John says here that if someone comes to you and starts talking but their words do not show the doctrine andmessage of Jesus, you do not listen to them and do not let them into your house or home or heart. These are deceivers. They will talk like they have some knowledge of the Word of God but their HEART is an ICE CASTLE, cold and deceitful.. The ACTIONS of a believer MUST line up with The TEACHINGS of THE BIBLE and the confesion from the mouth that Jesus Christ is LORD of their LIFE. IF the two do not line up, then you are to send them on their merry way and not listen to them.....
