James is NOT condemning people for living right, obeying the Lord and HIS Word and having saved and accumulated some wealth... He is pointing to those whose whole life has revolved around nothing but getting as rich as possibly can and not honoring the Lord because they are unsaved people..
The Pursuit of wealth is a huge pitfall for most people and that becomes their entire life's pursuit and passion.. They haveno room for Christ or HIS commandments in theor hearts or life..
