James chapter 2 verse 4
Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
WE as people have not the ability to look on the hearts of people but only the outward appearance of their dress and their words and actions. DO NOT make judgments of the spirituality of person based upon what only your eyes are seeing of their appearance.
Some of the sweetest believers I have ever known were dirt poor and had little.. They had BIG hearts and a LOVE for Christ because they were genuinely saved and grateful for the Savior's LOVE for them..
Their words and their actions were what distinguished them from others who dressed up and tried to look like someone who loves God, but during the times they were not putting on a show, their mouths and lack of Christlike works was showing a different inward nature than the pretense of the outward appearance...
If Christ has Saved you, then HE has CHANGED YOU to become more and more LIKE HIM, and He gave Himself tirelessly to helping others who could not help themselves. Show forth the love of Christ and and let others see your light shine and give glory to our father which is in Heaven!
