James 1: 26

If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

This scripture from the Apostle James should be a huge warning sign to all those who name the name of Jesus Christ as being their Savior.

Jesus said, Sweet water and bitter water both cannot come forth from the same fountain (spring).

Did you ever wonder how some people who claim to be Believers, (Christians loosely), can say and do things that are just reprehensible to you and your senses?

Well, you are not alone.. Jesus told us to be OBEDIENT to HIS WORDS and all the words of the Bible are HIS words.. HE IS the Living WORD of God..

A person cannot act like a pious saint on Sunday and live like he is Satan's assistant other days of the week.. Tjhose are contradictory deeds coming from the same inner source, the Heart..
God said this cannot be . And the illustration HE uses so we can understand clearly is that a spring does not have both sweet water and bitter water coming from it...

The source of the water is at the heart of the issue and in people the source is The HEART, because out of it proceed forth the issues of life....

If a person has no convictions about saying or doing things contrary to what Christ has shown us as His Own how to act, speak, live, then there is a problem. IF the fountain were TRUE and PURE only words and actions that are Christ honoring and pleasing would come forth..

"A double minded person is unstable in all their ways" James 1: 8

Let us set our affections on things that are eternal and strive to obey and please HIM who created us, and then loved us so much that He gave up His throne and became a man in order to live a sinless life and thus become the sinless perfect sacrificial offering unto GOD for ALL of our sins, so that we may be able to come to God seeking forgiveness and being made righteous in HIS eyes so that we would be able to live with HIM in His presence eternally. Without that blood sacrifice upon the cross, we would be hopelessly undone and have no hope ever of being spared the flaming inferno called Hell...
